Das Trennmesser ist eine Waffe in 
Fallout: New Vegas.
Charakteristiken
This Ripper is specially designed by the Gun Runners to accept modifications, unlike its standard variant. It is a weapon that is able to to deliver continuous damage against its targets (much like the chainsaw or thermic lance), and may even dismember them.
Similar to the default Ripper, this variant has a special V.A.T.S. attack called "Long Cut", unlocked with a Nahkampfwaffen skill of 50. The "Long Cut" attack uses 45 action points instead of 65, at the cost of doing half the normal damage. It is also considered an improved holdout weapon, so long as your Schleichen skill is 50 or greater.

Infos
- Rippers do more damage in one V.A.T.S. attack than in normal combat.
- When damaging some non-human enemies (like giant mantises), red blood will be spilled instead of green.
- The ripper (GRA) can successfully strike about 5995 times, or 8995 times when equipped with the heavy duty chain, from full condition before breaking.
