    In Fallout 4 kann der Einzige Überlebende seine eigenen Siedlungen an verschiedenen Punkten im Commonwealth errichten und verwalten. Innnerhalb dieser Siedlungen kann er über die Menüs einer Werkstatt neue Objekte platzieren und erstellen, sowie diese mit vorgegebenen Strukturen, verbinden und diese somit individuell gestalten (Wände, Korridore, Dächer, usw.). So kann der Spieler seine Heimatbasis nach seinen Wünschen individuell gestalten.
