Das Lucky 38 Penthouse ist ein Raum im Lucky 38 Kasino. Es ist der Ort, an dem der Kurier zum ersten mal Mr. House "trifft".
Layout
The player enters on the top level of a two-level circular penthouse that occupies the entire top of the Lucky 38 tower. If Mr. House is still alive, Victor stands next to the elevator, and the player will find Jane a friendly robot who will talk about Mr. House and will offer to buy snowglobes from the player for 2000 caps each.
Down the stairs to the left on the lower level is a terminal with a large display screen where the player can communicate with Mr. House, if he is still alive, or Yes Man, if his personality has been installed into the mainframe during Wild Card: Führungswechsel
To the left of the large terminal and tucked behind a staircase is a terminal on the wall with a hard lock. This terminal opens the secret door to Mr. House's inner sanctum, allowing access to an elevator to the control room, where the actual Mr. House can be found. The terminal can also be unlocked with the access codes, which the player gets by obtaining either a Lucky 38 VIP keycard or the Platinchip. Opening the door via the terminal will immediately turn the Sekuritrons hostile and fail Der House gewinnt immer, if that quest is active.
There are some other miscellaneous rooms and furniture, including safe storage containers and a bed the player can sleep in.
Notes
- Wenn der Spieler Mr. House tötet, ist Jane nicht mehr im Lucky 38 zu finden. Dies hat zur Folge, dass man die Schneekugeln, die man im Ödland finden kann, nicht mehr an sie verkauft werden können. Das Achievement kann aber dennoch durch das Sammeln der Kugeln erhalten werden, jedoch werden die Schneekugeln nun im Inventar bleiben. Sie können auch nicht auf der Vitrine in der Lucky 38-Präsidentensuite aufgestellt werden.
- Fast alle Gegenstände im Lucky 38 ist als "nicht im Besitz" markiert, d.h. man kann alles mitnehmen, ohne dass man Karma verliert.
- Es gibt dort drei Protektrons in einem Raum im Penthouse. Sie scheinen nur als Statue zu dienen. Einer von ihnen ist ein Nuka-Cola-Sicherheitsprotektron.
- Als die Mark II-Software während der Quest Der House gewinnt immer demonstriert wurde, sagt Mr. House, dass das Granatwerfer-Upgrade ein Teil der Mark II-Software sei. Wenn man jedoch von den Securitrons im Penthouse angegriffen wird, setzen diese den Granatwerfer schon ein, obwohl man noch nicht den besagten Platinchip bei Mr. House abgeliefert hat, der das Upgrade enthält.
