Mutated from a species of salamander, the Gulper continues to grow throughout its life. The largest are also the oldest and deadliest...Loading screen hint

Gulpers are creatures in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.

    Charakteristiken

    Biologie

Gulpers are mutated salamander-like creatures, which roam on the Far Harbor island. They can hang on trees, in order to take their victims by surprise, they can also slide through swamp-like areas, and hide underwater.

    Gameplay-Attribute

Having movement patterns similar to deathclaws, when engaged in combat, they will rush towards the player character, trying to dodge bullets if shot, and will attack with its paws and its large mouth.

Since they lack any form of exoskeleton, they will mostly not pose a great threat, but if encountered in groups, they might prove challenging to an unprepared player character.

They also will battle nearby mirelurks.

    Varianten

    Young gulper newt

This is a variant of the gulper less common than a young gulper, but also much weaker and smaller. Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4

    Junger Schlinger

These gulpers have a lighter coloration, less damage resistance, and less health and power than their elders. The lighter coloration makes young gulpers much easier to spot while hidden, as the light coloration usually clashes with their surroundings. Schlinger

These gulpers have a dark coloration and are much faster, healthier, and tougher than the younger gulpers. Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4

    Leuchtender Schlinger

These Gulpers have been severely mutated by concentrated fog, making them bioluminescent and deal radiation damage with every strike. Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4

    Gulper devourer

Gulper devourers are huge creatures roughly on par with deathclaws. They will often charge at the player character, dealing knockback on impact before following up with devastating melee attacks. While posing a considerable threat, they have a weak point: their soft bellies, quite similar to a deathclaw's.

Gulper devourers level with the player character and are therefore immune to the Wasteland Whisperer perk. Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4 Vorlage:Stats creature FO4

    Notizen

    • Gulpers tend to have a wide assortment of items in their inventories, such as rat poison, silver bowls, or even deathclaw hands. It is assumed that the gulper has eaten these items.
    • Can toss cars if a player comes close, and can kill them instantly, even high-level players.
    • Gulpers resemble the geckos found in Fallout 2 and Fallout: New Vegas, albeit lacking the frills on their neck and with slimier looking skin.

    Vorkommen

Schlinger kommen nur in dem Fallout 4 Add-On Far Harbor vor.
