Der Prospector Saloon ist ein Saloon gelegen in Goodsprings in 2281.
Entwurf
Der Saloon gehört Trudi, die ein kleines Büro beim Eingang hat. Rechts gibt es einen Billardtisch, auf dem ein Billardqueue liegt, eine Jukebox, links sind Bereiche zum Sitzen und ein Badezimmer im hinteren Gebäudeteil. An den Wänden hängen alte Werbeplakate für Vegas-Künstler. Die Männertoilette wird anscheinend als Abstellkammer benutzt, da sich dort Putzutensilien befinden. Der Raum daneben ist verschlossen. Um diesen Raum zu betreten, muss man das sehr leicht verschlossene Schloss knacken. Innerhalb befindet sich eine Distillerie von Trudy und einige Flaschen Fusel. Sowohl dieser Raum als auch das Büro von Trudy sind aus Metall gemacht, weshalb es sich dabei wahrscheinlich um Anbauten an den originalen Saloon handelt. Das Wort "Saloon" an der Außenseite ist mit Neonbuchstaben geschrieben.
Nach der Vollendung von Schießerei in der Geisterstadt bleibt Ringo hier, bis man zum Hauptquartier der Karminroten Karawane beim Strip von New Vegas gereist ist.

- Before completing the tutorial quest, a Goodsprings settler will be sitting at the bar. He can be killed for a prospector outfit, cowboy hat and a .357 magnum revolver in half condition.
- If you complete the quest Run Goodsprings Run, all the items in the saloon will not be considered owned if you take them, except the .357 magnum in the drinking glass behind the bar.
- Sunny Smiles is here when you can choose to complete Back in the Saddle.

Hinter den Kulissen
In real life, the name of the saloon is the Pioneer Saloon. A memorial with special section 'Fallout survivors' was unveiled on 19 October 2013, outside of the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings. It contains names of Fallout: New Vegas fans who came there and donated to it.
Bugs
It is possible that if you steal something in the Saloon, and then drop it, it will show up as not being owned. [bestätigt]
