Mutantenhöhlenpilze sind ein Verbrauchsgegenstand im 
Fallout: New Vegas Add-On Old World Blues.
Charakteristiken
While Höhlenpilz is normally grown in caverns as a reliable healing reagent, some caverns over the years have been unfortunate enough to become irradiated. This resulted in the mutated cave fungus, considered a delicacy in the wasteland, it is often used to make Schwarze Blutwürste and other consumables.
Whereas a normal cave fungus would reduce Strahlung, mutant cave fungus adds radiation when consumed and has an appropriate green glow. This item is needed to create Nachtpirschersaft, Dicke rote Paste, Schwarze Blutwurst and Schlacht-Gebräu. They respawn in the named locations every 72 game hours (3 game days).

- Mysterious cave (Around 20)
- Big MT north tunnel (sonic emitter required; around 5)
- Ulysses' Point (around 4)
- Magnetohydraulics complex (1 right inside as you enter)
- X-22 botanical garden (4 total; 1 in the ruined building, ground floor, near north wall; 1 a few steps west of the building's entrance outside; 1 near the foot of the steps and 1 on the remains of the 2nd floor on the southeast side.
- Northeast of Signal Hills transmitter across fallen antenna, same area where the second dried seeds packet is found, around the Dionaea Muscipula and fountain (3 total).
