Sister Mai is a merchant living in the Nucleus in 2287.
Hintergrund
Sister Mai is the general supply merchant located inside the submarine base The Nucleus. According to a note that can be found on a small end table inside the base she has family living in the Commonwealth, but she has no contact with them anymore.
Through dialogue, Sister Mai is the one to explain what 'scouring' is (healing radiation) and why the Children of Atom occasionally resort to using rad-medication: "Atom is picky about who he blesses" (with immunity against rads) or out of religious penitence "Scour oneself and embrace the Glow anew".
