Der Campingplatz Mesquite Mountains ist ein Ort im Mojave-Ödland. Er befindet sich nördlich vom und südlich vom (Mojave Outpost)Mesquite Mountains Krater.
Aussehen
Es gibt dort zwei Zelte, die jeweils zwei Betten beinhalten. Östlich des Campingplatzes unter dem Felsvorsprung, findet man verlassene Fahrzeuge, die vielleicht Flüchtlinge zu dem Ort gebracht hatten. Riesen RAD-Skorpione haben den Zeltplatz übernommen, die anliegenden Bereiche werden von RAD-Skorpionen aller Art besiedelt.

- Das südliche Zelt enthält einen Werkzeugkasten, eine Truhe und eine Kopie des Ödland-Überlebenshandbuch.

When trying to pick up the Ödland-Überlebenshandbuch, it can sometimes fall into the ground and you won't be able to pick it up. To deal with this, save your game before trying to pick up the guide. Then Approach slowly and just target the book with your crosshairs properly and click your button to fetch it in one hit. Don't try to pull it somewhere and it should be no problem. Or just try to walk into a spot where you can reach it and it reappears and simply take it.
It is possible to consistently lose one of your followers or companions in this area. Simply walk to this area from Mojave Outpost, and engage in combat with the radscorpions. Upon completing the combat, you will notice one of your followers is now missing, but without a message that they've died or been knocked unconscious. This has happened with both ED-E (while also traveling with Veronica), as well as Arcade Gannon.
