Die Mini-Atombombe ist ein etwa footballgroßer Nukleargefechtskopf, der als Munition für den Fatman in
Fallout 3 dient.
Charakteristiken
Mit einem Preis von 250 bis 400 Kronkorken (abhängig von der Feilschen-Fertigkeit) sind die Mini-Atombomben der teuerste Munitionstyp im Spiel. Sie werden für die beiden stärksten Waffen, dem Fat Man und dem experimentellen MIRV verwendet und verursachen auch ohne eine hohe Große Waffen-Fertigkeit sehr viel Schaden. Obwohl es sich um eine Nuklearwaffe handelt, kann die Atombombe nur durch das Verschießen im Fat Man oder dem experimentellen MIRV ausgelöst werden.

Insgesamt gibt es 70 sammelbare Mini Atombomben in Fallout 3. 2 mehr können bei verschiedenen Quests bekommen werden. Weitere zwei kann man in Zufallsbegegnungen, nachdem man Reillys Rangers abgeschlossen hat bekommen. Eine weitere kann in Operation: Anchorage, 13 in Broken Steel, 8 in Point Lookout und zwei in Mothership Zeta gefunden werden, was eine Gesamtsumme von 98 Mini-Atombomben mit allen Add-On's ergibt.
